As the popularity of gambling continues to increase, more and more women are to be found in casinos. Men are still the main high-rolling gamblers. However, today, more women are beginning to enjoy casino games such as blackjack and roulette.
Reports show that the number of female gamblers has increased dramatically and that today there are an equal number of male and female gamblers. While women stereotypically play games such as slots, video poker bingo, and the like, there been an increase in the number of women playing table games like blackjack.
As a tribute to the female gamblers who constitute more that half of its players, Atlantic City's Trump Marina Hotel Casino will be holding a “Ladies' Appreciation Day," which will feature male models, free chocolate and a blackjack tournament. The Ladies Appreciation Day, complete with blackjack tournament, is scheduled for this coming Sunday.
